Woodland Management

With our mechanised forestry system, we can harvest wood with precision. We work closely with specialist tree consultants to provide a complete service, from initial survey and woodland management plan to harvesting and processing. We can also react quickly to storm damaged trees that need immediate attention.

For smaller, more sensitive sites, we can also offer a traditional hand sawing service. We have experienced, qualified chainsaw operatives who will safely harvest your wood and then process the arisings.

Woodland Management Services Include:

  • Harvesting and thinning
  • Ditching and drainage
  • Access roads/tracks
  • Mechanised planting
  • Mulching
  • Stump removal
  • Mechanised extraction

We have used RJH for groundworks on numerous local authority contracts across the West Midlands over the last 3 years. Rob and his team are professional, highly skilled and provide a standard of work second to none in our experience.  In addition, they adhere to start and programme dates with resources to adapt where necessary.  Without hesitation we would recommend RJH for any size of project and will continue to utilise their services on our contracts in the future.

We have used RJH Plant Hire for numerous jobs on our site, from drainage works to roof repairs and everything in between!  Rob has always came across very professional and knowledgeable in the way he conducts himself, while ensuring the work is completed to a high standard with safety being at the forefront of everything undertaken.

We have used RJH for agricultural, domestic and rural projects for over 7 years now, and haven’t yet thrown a project at them that they couldn’t handle, large or small.  They understand the pressures on our business and ensure that commercial and residential tenants are treated with courtesy and respect, and disrupted as little as possible.  We trust them to deliver projects to high standards and keep sites tidy and safe.  We would not hesitate to recommend them.
